Position : Product Owner
Direct Report to : Head of Unit
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the product end-end lifecycle and release process, including coordinating with cross-functional teams, conducting user acceptance testing, and ensuring that releases are on schedule.
- Work with development team to facilitate agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and ensure that the team is following best practices.
- Conduct research and gather requirements from customer and business team, market trends to define product features and functionalities.
- Prepare detail BRD and mockups, user stories, process flows, SLA, FAQ and product documentation.
- Manage backlogs, define and measure success matrix and identify areas for improvement
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on product development and solicit feedback
- Work closely with the customers support team to address customer issues and feedbacks
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing product designs
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years in product development in fintech, microfinance, finance or banking as product owner
- BA in computer science, information systems, Business or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies is a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal (English) is a must
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Strong background and knowledge of end-to-end product development processes.
- Experience working closely with technical teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools is preferable
- Knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Simply being smart and energetic enough to learn relevant design and technical knowledge on the job.
- Able to adopt fast-paced environment
