December 12th, 2023, marks Modus Operandi (MO)’s 2nd anniversary. We started small, we started strong, with a team of 6, but as of the end of 2023, our team grew to 142. Throughout our course of existence, we created B2B and B2C products that reached over 50k users!! We know! How amazing is that! We can’t believe it as well; it is absolutely a dream come true.  

Our B2B products such as MoBiz, MoBills and MoPayments, and our B2C product MoMoney keep us busy, and after a while seeing the results of what we offer and make a huge imprint in the industry keeps us passionate to keep serving the community as a Neo Bank: helping unbanked businesses with payments, loans, and savings. We live to serve our MO-cosystem (An ecosystem but with MO). We have over 500+ merchants and 6,000+ agent network in 6 regions locally. New regions will be announced in months to come, soon MO will have its footprints across the country. Our presence is not only in Myanmar, but we also strive to provide our services in Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. 

One of our B2B products Payroll & Kyo Htote (advanced salary) under MoBiz took home the “Best Growing Payment Solutions providers” award from the International Finance Awards for 2023. MoBiz unlocks features that will ease MSME businesses. Features as listed below, these features allow business to speed up their financial transactions with a cherry on top feature of cashless and contactless payment through mobile and platform portals, yes that’s right we have the competitive edge, we are a whole package. So far MoBiz has onboarded 4K + individual and business users, over 200+ companies of our Payroll & EWA (Kyo Htote) product and 30+ payroll companies and counting.

• MoBills is the biller aggregator that connects resellers and billers to simplify their transaction processes, mainly targeted towards banks and MFS. MoBills offers a wide range of multiple billers without having the nitty gritty of signing in and integrating with different billers. It also reduces the complexity behind the integration of two cross-platforms, saves you a lot of time from the documentation process (no one likes that) and reduces the cost associated with managing multiple billers, how awesome is that! As of now we have successfully signed off 11 partners with MoBills, in addition to 3 digital merchants and have onboarded 40 bill payment services through our B2C app MoMoney.

• MoPayments is another one of our payment gateways, it allows businesses to accept wallet payments, card payments and bank account methods from various banks. MoPayments benefits e-commerce businesses allowing them to offer various payments to their customers without the hassle of documentation and skipping the queue when integrating a financial system or approaching banks. 

Our B2C product is as popular, MoMoney have over 500 merchants at your disposal to gain access to our top-notch loyalty program. By using QR codes through MoMoney’s app at our selected merchant shops it is the easiest and the fastest way for MoMoney users to make instantaneous payments. Say no more! MoMoney also have other features such as mobile top-up, cash withdrawal, bill payments. We regularly have promos so you better stay tuned on our social platforms! We have increased user engagements through our referral features & loyalty programs, made the whole user experience better.

MO’s MFI product (Microfinance institutions) works differently yet the only similarity compared to MO’s other products is to make the lives of individuals and businesses better. MO’s MFI product will offer small loans to families living in low-income households, employees, personal loans and group loans.  

Our vision is to build a world where people have control over their MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) businesses and individual finances. We are on a voyage to empower unbanked businesses and communities in developing countries by creating a unified MO-cosystem and provide them with innovative tools, and resources. Financial knowledge and is also catered through MO Foundation. We want to create a legacy, a mark. We don’t just see this as a competitive product in the industry but also express an essential way of life for entities and everyone being the financial backbone of the community.
